Melissa Dixon - Founder / Principal Designer
"I have always had a keen interest in colour, furniture and spatial planning. My bedroom was my first ever evolving creative outlet. I was always moving my furniture around and, much to the horror of my Mum, revelled in the bold use of wall colour to create my ultimate space.
After working in the corporate world for more than 10 years, I decided to follow my passion in interiors and gained my qualifications at Brisbane North Institute of Tafe (Cert IV in Interior Decoration) and Designer Training Australia (Cert IV in Kitchen and Bathroom Design).
I am a Wife, Mum and owner of one very spoilt Cocker Spaniel, so know a home needs to be functional, family friendly and liveable."
Established in 2010, MD Interiors is passionate and fully committed to providing every client with unique and beautiful spaces to make memories in.
During the design process, Melissa works closely with each client to make sure that concepts exceed her client's wishes. Melissa understands that budget, functional design and lifestyle are important considerations when creating a concept.
Melissa is passionate about blending classic and contemporary elements, to create authentic interiors with a timeless appeal.
